I often laugh at stupid things that I see in other countries that just seem a little weird. I have started taking pics of some of those things and maybe sharing them here is a good idea… Or maybe not
Yesterday we visited an underground hospital that was used to treat people during the siege of Budapest in World War II. They had about 100 lifesize wax models to give us an idea what it was really like… But the wax mannequins were not up to the standard of Madamme Toussauds. They were a little scary but to me they were very very funny and changed my museum experience :>). I wasn’t supposed to take pics but I snuck this one. I wish I would have got the pic of the guy on the toilet.
Today’s museum was the Marzipan Museum. Have you ever seen a life size Michael Jackson made out of marzipan? I have.
The Stranger (Seattle Alt newspaper) has a series where they take pics of street stickers. Jas Keimig compiles them and makes hilarious comments on their “Sticker Patrol”. I have seen some interesting stickers in Budapest so I need to share these Jas style…
